ConsMy instructor instructed me not to bring this around during lessons or checkrides etc. as it is not distributed by the FAA and that airport facility directories were the only choice, however in my opinion for a consolidated source, the Flight Guide is a great source of information, and will remain in my flight bag. Provides info on reporting points and arrival/departure procedures that only local pilots would otherwise know. Easy to use in the cockpit. ConsWhen they send you updates, it takes a while to get everything put in its proper place. There is no separation between states, so you need to be mindful of the state/page number when putting them in the binder. General Comments I use this product literally every time I fly. Although meant for VFR it has benefits to IFR pilots as well. |
