Now that I'm contemplating buying an airplane for the first time, this book is an outstanding starting place in defining what to look for in the family's new toy. Clearly, anyone contemplating the purchase of an airplane needs to have confidence in a good local A&P to provide a professional opinion on the final selection, but in order to narrow down the possibilities to the one or two that look like the best value for the intended use (be it trainer, time builder, or family fun machine), this book absolutely provides the basics! ConsIt's a bit on the expensive side but given the expected limited distribution, I can't fault the authors and publishers for wanting to make some money on the product.
