    Active Noise Reduction (ANR)

    Active Noise Reduction (ANR)

    Active Noise Reduction is a system of tiny microphones and speakers that listens to the ambient noise and electronically reduces it in the headset. ANR is particularly effective at cancelling low frequency noise (like engine noise,) and allows the headset to be both quieter and smaller than passive headsets. ANR headsets do require a power source, either battery or panel.

    Everything. Gel ear seals are extremely comfortable, the volume control detents make it virtually impossible to accidentally raise or lower the volume.

    This is the second David Clark headset that I have owned. My other is a military helicopter headset and still use it in helicopters.
    I ordered this one for flying airplanes and so far I enjoy this one as much as my other. The place I have been flying has many different headsets that I used and I came back to David Clark. Great quality, very well made and durable.
