    I was searching for the best way to secure my Ipad while flying my Bonanza. Lots of choices out there, but I wanted something simple, compact, and economical that allowed the IPAD to be used in portrait OR landscape mode. This small knee board was PERFECT. No need to take my IPAD out of its protective case. The clamp opens wide enough so the IPAD slips into position, and the rubber feet hold it securely against the glass without obscuring the screen. Rotating the IPAD takes 2 seconds. The leg strap and foam on the back holds it securely against your leg. Forget all the other Ipad holders, this is the simplest, most economical way to hold your IPAD for the true paperless cockpit!

    Never used this style before but have added this to hold the notepad for my instrument training... a tad uncomfortable at first but the beauty of Velcro allows for easy adjustment.

    Does exactly what it is supposed to do. Just did a XC flight and it most definitely came in handy. It is rugged and was able to take the beating of me taking it off and on throughout my flight. I'm sure it will be staying in my flight bag for quite a while.

    After one use, the "attached" foam backing strips came off. Turns out they were only attached with double-sided tape. Very cheap!!!

    This is my second kneeboard of this type. I have tried others and returned to this one, needing a new one because the elastic wrap stretched out eventually after 10 years and wouldn't stay put. It is simple, straight forward, the information printed on the board is helpful, I always file my flight plans with it in hand. The squawk code info was very beneficial when I lost communications early in my flying career.

    If you want a basic, easy-to-use kneeboard, this fits the bill. Easy to strap on and stable when writing, has useful VFR or IFR quick reference, in-the air-information at your fingertips. I have enough to look at on my panel, so just wanted a simple kneeboard for the approach plates and notes. I am enjoying mine!

    Just what I expected. It provides a good writing surface, I do not spend time looking for my pen because it is in its clip. I can place my approach charts on the kneeboard and not have to try to hold another large book in my lap.

    Cons

    I am left handed so the kneeboard is right next to the door making it a little awkward.
