seemed too good to be true - for only 7 bucks. but it works just as advertised and is a very nice patriotic addition to our aircraft. way cool and easy. all of Sporty's products should be this economical and value packed. hint hint

Size is right for most GA aircraft, Detail is excellent.
Cons
Very hard to apply, material will wrinkle very easily. Closely examin the ad, I would recommend a slight increase in thickness of the material.
The difficult part is removing the old stickers. We used a wheel that is attached to an electric drill. It appears to be hard eraser material. It took the old stickers off without touching the paint. A liitle clean-up with naptha to remove the leftover residue and you're ready to stick the new ones on. Go slowly and work the bubbles out as you go. Persistent bubbles can be pricked with a pin and flattened.
The flag(s) look especially good when mounted on the vertical stabilizer. Mine were mounted on a Cessna172 E

Requires careful installation onto the aircraft. Two people can easily install the flag(s). One to hold it straight and the other to smooth it out. I did the job with one person and it took a lot of rubbing to get the surface smooth

I ordered these about 14 years ago for one of my planes...they are still on the tail and doing great.
So when I needed a set for my new plane I went to Sporty's Catalog and they were still being sold. Knowing Sporty's and their return policy I couldn't go wrong. The Flags are just like the origninals from 14 yrs and I'm very happy. Dan

I've been using these on my trucks for 15 years. I figured that if they stand up to the extreme envioronments that aircraft frequent, they must be good. I have never been disappointed.

I would like it better if it were more fade resistant or be given suggestions on how to slow down the fading.
