It does work - many radio transmit remote thermometers do not. Well made for the price

These sensor or sender units are not compatible with most receivers. Even though the frequency of broadcast or the Channel numbers are the same.
General Comments
Purchasing these products made by this manufacturer is very confusing because they do not tell you which sender units are compatible with which receivers. There is a warning in small print that your sender may not be compatible but there is no way of knowing without calling. As sold by Sporty's they do work but do not think that because you have a receiver for this unit's frequencies that it will work. This is not Bluetooth functionality but plain ole wireless packet transfer.
