If you're like most of us, the looks alone will bring back long-lost memories of good friends and good times. This Jukebox is the real thing. The metal trim pieces are hand-finished die-castings, with triple plating. The cabinet is constructed of a variety of hand-carved and hand-finished hardwoods, including walnut, alder, poplar, and oak. And of course, the "bubbler" feature is exactly as the original, with tiny bubbles continuously rising through the full-height transparent tubes, while a kaleidoscope of colors flows through the surrounding translucent columns. More than just looking like the original, the sound will also astound you. Although updated to play CDs instead of 45s, the powerful 360 watt RMS amplifier has been designed to reproduce music with the same unmistakable "presence" as the original. Jailhouse Rock, I Get Around, or Rock Around the Clock will sound exactly as they did when you first heard them (except, of course, there won't be any clicks or pops). Inside the Jukebox are five internal speakers, including a 10" woofer for powerful bass. And you can connect up to four additional pairs of speakers to spread the sound to an even larger area. The mechanism holds 100 CDs, so there's room for the whole family's music. You can set the mechanism for either coin-operated or free play. One modern convenience added is a full-featured remote control. Bubbler model with top crown of metal stands 60" h, Measures are 33"w x 27"d, and weighs approx. 300 lbs.
