It's good, but keep your regular hedge trimmer handy.
Pros
The trimmer works well on schrubbery with tight branches like a boxwood or barberry. It doesn't get all the clippings, but gets most of them. So there is a lot less clean-up.
Cons
The trimmer can't get into tight spaces such as between a fence and a bush. It also isn't well suited for loose branched bushes or schrubbery, or for individual branches/twigs that are sticking up.
General Comments
The trimmer works well on some bushes, with a lot less clean-up. But keep your headge trimmer handy, this trimmer cannot handle all types of bushes or get into tight spaces.
