Can not get cell phone to work, audio does not get muted when aircraft radio is being used. Manual is not very helpful - no trouble shooting ideas.

Very disapointed in this product. Shopped Sporty's for year's and have been happy until now. Would return if I could.

I have not used the product myself, however my wife truly appreciates its ease of use. We have several relatives that live close to small GA airports and she uses it to let them know when we are arriving. I will try it someday to see if it creates too much distraction, but for now it is exactly what we wanted.

I had problems making the interface with the radio. I thought it was working in flight but the other end of the conversation could not hear me at all. The interface cords should be marked.

I have a Blackberry. When I attempted to make a phone call, I could hear the other person through my headset, but they could not hear me.

I'm glad I bought it, I would rather have paid a lower price considering the fact that I could only use it for my ipod. Other than that I'm happy with it.

Audio level is VERY low in both modes, but in transmit mode using my Bose "X" headset it was so low that I could not be heard by the party called.

The unit reduces aviation volume and adds distortion when activated. The cord that came with the unit did not fit my cell phone, so purchased a cable from Radio Shack from $12. The unit still did not work with the cell phone. It did work with my MP3 player, but the music volume was very low, distorted, and the aviation volume was also significantly reduced and distorted as well.

This little device instantly connected my Garmin 696 to my headphones. Now I can get 100% of my Garmin's capabilities. A VFR flyers dream come true. I have not tryed to use a cell phone in the air with it, but I am sure it would work just as good as it does with my Garmin.

Cons
Be prepared to have a rats nest of cords in the cockpit, and if you don't have the proper brand of cell phone forget about talking.

This product cannot be used safely in flight. Radio transmissions should stop the music from playing. They do not. ATC instructions or traffic calls ca easily be missed if music is played. I regret this purchase.

I found the volume a bit soft when I plug my Ipod in, I have to set the volume to max. to hear anything, and it is still too soft. A bit to pricey for what you get, I would not have bought it had I tested one before.
