It's a cable. What's there to say.. plug it in, it works. But this is the perfect example of "aviation is so expensive" --- and needlessly so in this case. We're talking about a $2 headphone adapter from The Shack.. then the "odd" sized mic plug.. maybe $10, or $15 if you want to push it.. but $26? -- someones looking to retire early.
Works as described. It is new to me so I can't say that it is durable or reliable but it looks fine, and it works to do what it is advertised to do... so I'm happy.

I purchased the adapter on speculation that it would work with an Icom A21. It does not, therefore I returned the adapter to Sporty's.

A bit pricey for two patch plugs attached together, but in a cockpit emergency, I'd pay it in a heartbeat.

I carry my handheld as a back-up only. If the situation arrises that I must use it, I want to be able to use my headset as I am accustomed. This adapter worked flawlessly. Using this adapter, the only difference was that I had to key the mike on the handheld instead of my yoke-mounted PTT switch. A must have for any backup handheld.
