Clip is really flimsy and has little strength. Would be better if mount curved over the yoke pad.

Holds my IFR approach plates perfectly. I did put a thin piece of cardboard behind the plates to hold them out for better viewing. Another thing I liked was that I could rotate the holder a little bit so I could view my Directional Heading and Vertical Speed indicators better. I my Mooney you sit very close to the instrument panel and a corner of an approach plate could begin to obscured your view of these instruments, but being able to rotate the holder solved the problem.

I have not had a problem with the elastic breaking yet.

Only thing I dislike about this product, is it mounts high. With the Piper Arrow I fly, I cannot see the MP and fuel flow indicators with a chart in this. I wish it was just as high enough to clear the yoke, but still have visibility of all instruments. I will still use it because it makes seeing the chart easier than holding it or setting it in your lap.

This product does help with chart management as it is directly in front of you.

The rubber ties are not very sturdy and the entire clip moves unless you are very carefull when putting something into or out of the clip.

With modifications to the strapping system it would be a great product. A strap similar to how a snowmobile hood is held down would be great but the way it is now it is pretty weak.

It is light and easy to attach.

It is light but the rubber bands that you attach it with won't stay tight and it will slip around the yolk. The plastic clip does not hold tightly and if you accidently hit it everything drops to the floor.
General Comments
Overall the quality is very low and is not what you would expect from Sporty's. I used it once on a cross country took it off and disposed of it. I may look on your website to try and find a useable product because I need a yoke clip but it must be strong and dependable.

The rubber "ties" that hold it to the yoke suck! It won't stay put, moves constantly and breaks easily. If someone could make an actual clamp for the yoke tube, then it would be a great product!
