Pros
Awesome book. The clearest, easiest to understand, and most entertaining explanation to every aviation question.
Extremely well indexed so you can find subjects quickly. Perfect for professional pilots or CFI's, but equally wonderful for private pilots to take the ambiguity out those questions that haunt us.
Cons
Not a book to be read cover-to-cover. Great reference book when you have questions from time-to-time.
General Comments
Wish I had the book available during my 42 year flying career. Would have simplified my life! ... to answer quickly and with fun those questions that haunt every pilot.

Pros
TONS of info! Good graphics.
Cons
WAY TOO MUCH UNDERLINING AND BOLD TEXT! This really clutters up every page. FAR references are just grouped together making it hard to tell what reference goes with what paragraph.
General Comments
A good reference book... until a reg changes. Lots of info and insight, but too cluttered with underlining and bold text.
This book covers a lot of information. Information is easy to find.
Cons
Although the book covers a lot of information, it has a tendency to have shallow knowledge about a few things; but it tells you what it is, just not a lot about it. There is no information about coffin corner.
General Comments
I would say this is a great book for someone who wants to know pretty much everything, including generic commercial ops. The information would be WAY too much for a new private pilot. However, a seasoned pilot would/should know this information anyway. Still a nice way of keeping sharp. I found my self saying "Ohh, that’s nice to know" a few times, after calculating the velocity which a tire will hydroplane. The information in the book has cartoon graphics as well as actual pictures in the pages. Some have commentary. If you’re a plain text kind of person, stay away they will drive you insane. If you don’t mind pictures and stuff on your pages, give it a shot. So you decide, I thought it was good.

Could use some fresh or harder-to-find info. Good, but not obscure enough for me.
