General Comments
We are EXTREMELY pleased - we have slate flooring and the chairs sit solidly. As we just installed the glides, I am not in a position to comment on durability or reliability but they appear sturdy, not at all thin or flimsy.
One thing I didn't take into account was that the glides are app. 1/2" thick when installed so they are visible. Therefore, choose your color with that in mind.

Pros
These little glides work very well. We just purchased a counter height table with 8 chairs. The chairs are heavy and were hard to slide on our floor. The addition on these glides has reduced the effort required to slide a chair across the floor. They have also taken out the wobble that we had with some of the chairs. I rate these glides with 5 stars for each of the product questions! I can't comment on the life of them since we have only had them in place for about 2 weeks.
