Works exactly as advertised. I suspect those that have given lessthan stellar reviews have simply not read the directions.
Cons
The stickum tape installation fails after a short period of time. Recommend the use of dry wall anchors and screws.

Good concept and value.
Cons
The mike is not very sensitive. Had to tape it right to the speaker grill of the main chimes but it does work. Seems to be location sensitive for the chimes.
