Conventional knife sharpeners will restore this angle, but our Ultimate Knife Sharpener goes one step further: it creates a hollow-ground edge, which has gently curved sides tapering to a razor-sharp point for unmatched sharpness. And, its special honing process removes less steel than other methods so high quality knives last longer. Counter-rotating diamond-enhanced discs facilitate one-step precision operation and keep the blade at the correct angle, producing a burr-free edge and eliminating the guesswork associated with hand sharpening.
