Having gone through the recent floods in our area, this device would prove to be a real help-if I would have had it sooner. My aunt swears by hers,and it helped when her water heater leaked!!!!

I feel more relaxed with the water alarm in place. Before we had it, our Hot water tank leaked and when it flooded the kitchen and laundry room, we had no warning what so ever that we had the leak.
I can now sleep at night knowing that the alarm is in place ready to let me know if we have any water leaking from the tank.

So simple, really works. With a hot water heater in the attic I always worried. Beep strong enough to hear 2 floor beneath. Great for cellars also. 9 Volts makes long lasting and loud sqeel.
Cons
Don't place direct on HW galvanized tray. Small,thin sheet of paper between instrument and metal tray. Otherwise you get a false alarm.
