This product does light up and is visible at night for about 6 to 8 hours as promised.
Cons
The anchors are cheap plastic and break easily unless putting into nice, soft soil. Had to disassemble one and reanchor the battery pack inside. A good strong wind can provide enough force to break the holding flanges on the anchor that insert into the support pipe. I had to make my own support anchor from an anchor spike from a previous solar lamp.

I would suggest spending a little more to get a sturdier product.

The solar portion (ie light) was great.
Cons
The spike to insert them into the ground was terrible! Perhaps it was a bad run of plastic, but 3 of 7 broke as I inserted them in the ground. (And it was soft enough I could just push it in with my hand). Two more were broken the next day when I got home. They just seemed very brittle. I finally just poked the upright directly into the ground.
