The Easy Rider Knob (aka. "Suicide Knob", "Brody Knob", "Necker Knob" is well constructed, rugged and has a good ergonomic feel. Installation is relative straight forward. However the installer would greatly benefit by using a "T" type Hex driver rather than the supplied hex wrench. The supplied tool requires removal and reinsertion on each ¾ revolution for tightening.
Cons
The one BIG problem is that installation is permanent and if you don't get it right, the only way to remove the thing is to use a pair of bolt cutters on the clamp (metal strap). Loosening the hex bolt does not, in itself remove the knob as the clamp "locks" when tightened. Removal is therefore extremely difficult and will most certainly damage the steering wheel.
General Comments
Buy it if you're sure of getting the installation right the first time and you are sure that you will never have a need to remove it in the future. Once installed (either correctly or not) it is on the steering wheel forever. Make sure that you select the correct spacer (supplied) on the first try otherwise the knob will lock, be too loose fitting and cannot be removed to insert a larger spacer. If it is installed correctly, you have solace that the knob will outlast the tractor. The product is not marketed for automotive installation, but it will fit on a car's steering wheel. Because of the previous comments, make very sure about local laws before doing this.

It is nice to finally get a product that performs better than you expect. This steering knob is smooth as silk and is effortless in turning both my tractor and riding lawn mower. I highly recommend this product to anyone who is considering purchasing it. Mounting on the steering wheels of both vehicles was accomplished in just a matter of a few minutes.
