Pros
I have had moles in my yard for numerous months. I have tried the other trap, bait, poison, gum, you name it, with absolutely no success. Then I saw this trap and figured what the heck, I'll give it a try. Three days of use and I have caught three moles. Batting 1000. Yes!
Cons
Releasing the trap manually is a bit of a challenge until I figured out that by putting my foot on it and then lifting the spring with my finger solved the problem. This way it is easily moved.
General Comments
This trap is very easy to set up and works extremely well. Even my young son can set this one up. It's sensitive which is why it probably works so well. Do not try and move the trap while it is set. Like the instructions, I found if I slightly depress the mole run and then set the trap it has been 100% successful. I would have gladly paid twice the amount to get rid of the damage caused to my yard by the moles so as far as I'm concerned the price is well worth it.
