General Comments
I have been using ASA protectors for a while and needed to replace them as well as order some other things. I noticed that Sporty's only offers their chart protectors and the price is in line with ASA so I ordered them. The quality is horrible. Some of them came with cracks at the corners, they are as if a child cut them out of the plastic sheet they were made from, the edges are not uniform, and they do not lie very flat. They are wavy which makes the chart less easy to see in an area that is lifted from the approach plate. I wil lbe replacing these with ASA as soon as I can and throwing these in the trash.
Heavy-duty plastic. Easy to access openings-don't stick together. Allows me to put checklists in my Orgakneezer Kneeboard for quick and easy access.

Were shipped underneath 4 cans of Avblend. This bent the plastic and didn't smooth out. Previous examples were more pliable. I can use these for checklists, etc. but I am disappointed in the stiffness of the product.

Some of the sleeves were folded or bent to the point that they'll not be usable. Some were a bit dirty as well. I'll be contacting Sporty's because my order was quite large.

You will have to punch out most of the punch holes yourself...just take your time.
The holes are not completely cut out, so it took FOREVER to punch every single hole. You need some extra patience to punch every hole one by one.

Seems ok as far as plastic quality but I wish the holes were actually punched. They were barely pre-cut. I had to really tear some of them off and as a result, the plastic got stretched out...

Cheap and reliable. They are very good for orgonizing any papers, charts, approach plates, or anything you want to keep for a while.
Cons
These protecters are not the same as the Jeppesen chart protectors. They load from the side which isn't necessarily a con because it makes them easier to put papers in and out, but because it loads from the side it is skinnier than normal. Because of this you either have to punch holes in your charts or cut them skinnier.

Overall they are good. They are really cheap so buy more than you need. It is really nice to have an organized kneeboard now.

Obviously to protect frequently used charts/plates. The price was the best advantage, so far.
Cons
The binder ring holes still (most) had the inner portion remaining making it difficult, at best, to place them into a binder readily. User must use a pointed device, such as a small knife blade or an awl and punch through and remove the fragment.
Charts (Jeppesen) are very thin and flimsy making it difficult to insert them into the plastic protector with ease. It takes some maneuvering and patience - not something rapidly accomplished.
General Comments
Overall, not a bad deal considering the price. Thankfully I did not have to do more than 50 plates and did have time to do it.

Just the right size for easy stowage in my tri-fold kneeboard. I don't use Jeppesen binders, but the side entry makes it very easy to slide charts, flt plans, etc., into the sleeve.
Cons
The punched binder holes are not separated from the sleeve. This is a real negative as they hang up on each other, and, when they do separate they make a mess.
