They were difficult to replace because the plastic retaining lip is the same dimension as the piece over which it fits. I was not comfortable making it fit and there was no direction that indicated it was, indeed, required that I pull on the plastic soas to deform it long enough to fit around the earpiece. I half expected it to tear.
General Comments
The original ear covers disintegrated. The thin pleather outer layer simply came off in chunks on and around my ears. I was very unhappy with the lack of durability of the pieces and of the replacement costs....$25 with shipping. There was no alternative replacement other than this one so I have to recommend it as the replacement. Competition would be good, in this case.
