How can I rate durability and reliability when I just received it?
Disappointed in Sporty's shipping promises. Paid for delivery in time to use as a birthday present, but it was late nonetheless.

It appears to work quite well and has allowed us to avoid installing a permanent PTT on the co-pilot yoke.
Cons
It was relatively expensive compared to other devices on the market.

We have only been using the device for a couple of flights. Time will tell if the price to quality equation work out to a good value.

The velcro strap is too short It is not convenient to use. I expected that I could mount it such that i could access the push button with my "pinky" finger. Instead I have to mount it at the top of the yoke handle and access it with my thumb. It's very awkward

Works as advertised, no surprises. I use it on both a Piper Cherokee with portable intercom and Cessna 140 with built in intercom.
Cons
Tends to slip around a little; need a better no-slip surface on switch backing.

I haven't actually pushed to talk on this yet and I have certain expectations from Sporty's where I feel confident about what I buy, so, I know I can recommend this.
This PTT switch was not compatible with the ICOM IC-A6 radio that I purchased from Sporty's. This radio needs a 3.5 mm plug.
