A step above the standard, this jacket is a nylon version of the U.S. Air Force current-issue cold weather flight jacket. 100% nylon shell is water repellent and fully lined with quilted nylon and polyester batting using a dumbbell pattern stitching (not reversible). Storm flap and stand up collar protect against the elements. Features large lined front cargo pockets with double needle stitching and VELCRO closures. Jacket also has a rectangular VELCRO patch above the left chest—great for a name tag or other identifying insignia. In our experience, the CWU 45/P runs slightly small. If in doubt, please order the next larger size.

Pros
Easy to care for. Warm in winter. Bought a black and a green one. Would buy again if needed.
Cons
I don't like the pockets. They should be more in the sides instead of in the front. Sleeves seem to be a little bulky, but in the winter, they add to the warmth of the product.

I like it.
Pros
It's warm and comfortable. I've only had it a couple of weeks but I suspect it will be durable.
Cons
I thought my original Air Force version came with slash pockets for the hands. I miss not having handy pockets. No inside pocket and no hand warmer pockets. These are minor cons for me. They would just make the product that much better.
General Comments
The jacket may well deserve 5 stars for all categories except my missing convenience pockets. I've only had the product a few weeks and cannot attest as to it's durability.

General Comments
Good Jacket for the price! Compared to some higher priced ones.
I had to return the jacket because it was too large. It only comes in two sizes, medium and large (the medium was for a size 44 chest. I wear a size 38-40 jacket).
These are not only great jackets to keep you warm, the pencil pockets and the sleeve pouch are great for pilots. The pockets are roomy, too, and they stay closed. The Velcro is quite strong.
I know they hold up well because I am replacing one I have had for years. It is definitely more than 5 years, maybe more than 8. The old one is still in decent condition but the cuffs have become stretched and it is looking tired. I still wear it, though, when appearance is not important.
Cons
The pockets are a bit high for my taste, but no real problem.
I can't think of any real cons.
