Colored tabs are very handy when flying the plane IFR, they make it easier to find the correct page. I didn't think this would be very helpful, but it actually is.

This item appealed to me because of its price but after using it I would highly recommend you spend the extra few bucks and buy the IFR Flight File(I think it's made by a company called Aero Phoenix but Sporty's sells it online too). This one is just cheap cardboard that is laminated and does not hold together well. In fact, the pages were all wrinkled just from the heat it faced while out for delivery with the post office.
