Product description:
Allows the SP-200, SP-400, SP-125, JD-200 NAV/COM and JD-100 to be powered externally from a 115 volt wall outlet. Plugs directly into the side of the JD-200/SP-200/SP-125 and permits the radio to operate normally with or without a battery pack attached. Also charges the optional Nicad Battery Pack (#8631A) if installed, and is safe for use with the standard Alkaline Battery Pack. Power cord measures 6 ft. long. JD-100 and JD-200 no longer manufactured.

Bought this for my son-in-law to go with his new 400. Can buy the same charger with the same electrical specifications for around $10-$15. The difference is the device connector plug which kind of locks you in to this charger at $50.

Works great. A good addition for the JD series.
Cons
Product is bulky and heavy. Can fall out of wall socket. Manufacturers should be able to make a smaller and lighter weight version.
