GREATEST SIMULATOR EVER

A really good way to get familiar with the operations of any air craft it teaches how to start an airplane, takeoff, maintain altitude, navigate, read the instruments, how to taxi, how to talk to ATC, and it even teaches you how to respond in case of emergency and it teaches you how to turn the airplane off with refueling features and loads of different missions its a blast

sometimes it crashes sometimes it gets Skippy and there have been times when my plane was unresponsive and it takes time for some things to take effect

Best product ever - ver realistic and useful for practicing and keeping my head in the game when I am unable to fly for real.
Cons
Installation of the base Flight Sim X went perfectly. Was ultimately unable to install the 'Accelleration' pack because kept receiving a product registration error. After trying to work with Microsoft and using online resources, I finally gave-up and downloaded/installed the service packs to bring Flight Sim X up-to-date, but unfortunately I can't take advantage of the additional aircraft and content on the accelleration DVD.

Information on products use and how to operate is a zero. I spent 30years in advertising and one thing that always bugged me was a manufactuer who asumed you knew how to use their product. Maybe we are not all mind readers, I know I am not. Shame on the tech writers at Microsoft.

General Comments
This is my third or fourth version of Microsoft FS and really I am somewhat disappointed. It really offers little more with the exception of more planes than some previous versions. In fact some of the earlier versions offered more than this version (ablility to build or alter landmarks). The only real improvement that I have enjoyed with this version comes from my acquistion of a more powerful computer and not the software.
