Must have for all student pilots, my school requires it! Its a great supplement to any study guide (I use Jeppesen) and you will find most of the text correlates directly to the Private Pilot FAA exam. Great book to build your foundation of knowledge to be a pilot.

As required reading, it is an excellent resource that is written in an easy-to-read format. As for Sporty's, they shipped it quickly, and it arrived in a timely manner, and packaged so that there was no damage or wear. I could ask no more of Sporty's on this transaction!

As a student pilot I am finding the "Handbook" an excellent resourse in preparing for the written and oral exams. While I have a full training package, this additional resource is easy to understand, comprehensive and a welcome addition for my studies. I consider it a "must have" reference for my flying.
