We are privileged to provide our own in-house FAA Designated Pilot Examiner.

Matt Meyer has been part of the Sporty's team since 2000. Originally from Cincinnati, Matt graduated from the University of Cincinnati/Sporty's Academy professional pilot program. Since then he has helped many students successfully complete a variety of pilot certificates and ratings. Matt has also flown as an airline pilot for a regional airline and also flies the Citation 500 series for companies and individuals in the corporate world. In addition to a fair examination, Matt's diverse experience brings real world knowledge and advice to a pilot applicant no matter the rating sought.
