There’s nothing like your first takeoff in an airplane to show you the fun and freedom of flying.

The Flight Experience at Sporty’s will include an introduction to personal aviation that will include aircraft, opportunities, adventure and the community of general aviation. You’ll learn how to get started in your aviation journey and hear more about the benefits and safety of recreational flying.
For your first flight, you and your certified flight instructor will perform the time-honored tradition of the pre-flight inspection of the airplane. You’ll talk about some basic concepts and then takeoff on your 1-hour flight over the rolling hills of southwest Ohio and the picturesque Cincinnati skyline. You’ll sit in the captain’s seat, with your hands on the controls—you are flying!
The instructor will show you a normal takeoff, basic maneuvers (straight and level flight, turns, descents, etc.) and a normal landing. When you land, your instructor will make your first logbook entry. You’re now on your way to becoming a pilot.
Also included with the Flight Experience, is Sporty’s award-winning Complete Pilot Training Course for the Recreational pilot – a $115 value. This online course features real-world flight training – ground school, flight school and test preparation in one complete course. The course includes everything you need for your first 30 hours of flying including your first solo flight and the Recreational checkride. You'll also go home with souvenirs of the day's excitement and the foundation for becoming a pilot yourself. After all, we know you have the Right Stuff!

AIRMAN'S PACKAGE $159.00
The Airman's Flight includes everything you get in the Introductory Flight, but more. Your actual flight time is increased to a full hour. Your flight instructor will show you how to fly the airplane "straight and level" as well as how to do turns. You'll have a full 60 minutes to enjoy being in the air, seeing your community from a whole different perspective while actually being at the controls, flying an airplane.
You'll get the same souvenirs to take home, including your very own pilot logbook with your first flight noted. This could be an hour that changes your life. You, a pilot? Sure, we'll make it easy and fun.

INTRODUCTORY FLIGHT $99.00
You'll spend a full hour with a flight instructor who will show you how pilots inspect their aircraft prior to taking off. You'll learn about the different parts of the airplane and what they do. You'll learn what all the dials and displays on the instrument panel are for. But that's not the best part. You will taxi and take off on a 30-minute flight where you will (with your flight instructor sitting next to you) fly the airplane yourself.
You'll go home with souvenirs of the day's excitement - along with a suggestion that you consider becoming a pilot yourself. After all, we know you have the Right Stuff!

YOUTH FLIGHT $183.00
Long after the latest fad item is broken or forgotten, a child in your life will remember the time you made it possible for him or her to fly an airplane. Your child will spend two hours with an FAA-certified flight instructor who will tailor the experience to your child's age and interests.
Your child and the flight instructor will then go on an hour-long local flight where he or she will gain an understanding of the airplane's instruments as well as how to fly an airplane. With the flight instructor sitting next to him, your child will actually fly the airplane on their own. Talk about a boost in self-esteem! This confidence-building two hours will become a memory that your child will have for a lifetime. And who knows? Maybe your child will find his or her career path in the exciting aviation industry.
