ABX does a good job adding humor to the content. The course is fast paced and akin to drinking from a fire hose. The days are long and do not expect to be done early on Friday. They are squeezing a 6 day course into 5. I completed my final sim time at 5:00pm however the group behind me finished at 7:00pm (and that's only because we were able to get into the sim earlier than previously scheduled).
Also, if you plan on flying into KILN they do not have 100LL. You will be able to park next to the training center and they will hangar your aircraft if needed. There are a few nearby airports that have self-serve 100LL (GEO, I66, etc). You will need permission prior to landing so contact ABX before you depart. There were several people involved when I flew up, including security who met me at my aircraft.
Overall it was a great experience and the group of people involved at ABX are top notch!December 2, 2017Would You Recommend?YesSportie’s ATP CTP ClassI took the Nov 5-10 2017 course. The course was as entertaining as they could make it, with humor and interesting stories spread throughout. I had ~5k hours both civilian and military. Basically this class was a box checker for me. The only disparaging thing That we had to deal with is this. The email that you get when you confirm your class, said that class will take place between 0800-1700 M-F. If you bought airline tickets thinking this is the schedule, you would be wrong. Times changed multiple times for the sims throughout the week (3 different times) from leaving at 2200 on Friday ( requiring another hotel stay and multiple needless call to the airline ) to moving an additional hour to the right, when we showed or the 76 sim on Friday . While not completely devastating, this is an important aspect that needs to be fixed with the schedule. But overall classroom instruction was entertaining, ( Thanks Steve) and the sims were fun. Get your schedules strained out and it would of been 5 star.

Sim is by far the best part though... personally I'm glad I didn't rush. I would suggest you book flights for early eve though, so you have enough time to get to the airport too. Non-US citizens are subject to Transportation Security Administration security background screening at their own expense.
