Sporty’s Dealer Program

Sporty’s has designed our dealer program, to offer high quality pilot supplies and educational products at an excellent value. Whether you’re looking for aviation curriculum, which can be found in Sporty’s complete Pilot Training Courses or a complete line of pilot supplies, including Flight Gear Bags, kneeboards, logbooks and more, Sporty’s has the products to help your students and your business.

Sporty’s Dealer Program offers convenient on-line ordering and since we stock every item we sell, you can be assured your orders will arrive within a few days after you place the order.

If you're an FBO, Flight School or independent CFI, we encourage you to fill out an application to become a Sporty’s dealer so your students will have access to many of the great products offered by Sporty’s, right at your airport location.

Eligibility

Sporty’s welcomes flight schools, FBOs and independent CFIs to apply to be a Sporty's dealer.

Advertising Policy

Sporty’s dealers are expected to promote Sporty’s products on their premises. Dealers are strictly prohibited from advertising or promoting Sporty’s products by any means of mass media including, but not limited to, online or catalogs.

Note: FAA charts are specifically excluded from this advertising policy.

Ordering Information

• Sporty's will accept dealer orders via fax or online.

  Online orders: Can be placed at www.sportys.com/dealer

  Fax orders: Our fax numbers are 513.735.9200 or 800.LIFTOFF (internationally, 00-800-4SPORTYS)

   

• In order to receive a discount, at least two of an item must be ordered.
• Payment must accompany all dealer orders and may be in the form of Visa, Mastercard, Discover, PayPal or a check.
• Dealer pricing on Sporty’s Holiday “Deal of the Day Items” is taken from the original retail price and not the “Deal of the Day” price.

Shipping and Handling

Dealer orders are shipped by ground shipping FOB Batavia. Dealer orders are charged actual shipping charges, which are displayed at the end of the order process.

State Sales Tax

Due to changes in federal regulations, Sporty’s is now required to collect and remit sales tax on transactions occurring in your state. As a Sporty’s dealer, if you provide us with your resale/tax exemption certificate, sales tax will not be collected on your orders. Once your certificate is received, we will update your account so that any orders placed with us are exempt from sales tax.

Below is a list of states where we currently collect and remit sales tax. Please note, this list continues to be expanded: Alabama, Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, Washington, Washington DC, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.

Excluded Items

Not all items are eligible to receive a discount. A partial list of items that are not discounted include:
Headsets from Lightspeed, Bose, David Clark, Clarity Aloft, AKG, Telex.
GPSs from Garmin.
ADS-B receivers from Appareo, Garmin and Dual.

Due to a Ray Ban policy, Ray Ban sunglasses may not be purchased by Sporty's dealers.

To determine if an item receives a discount, first log in to your dealer account. If a product does not have a price underneath the retail price on the page labeled "as low as" or "buy 2 for...", then that item is not eligible for a discount.

Copyrighted Materials

Under no circumstances shall any of our copyrighted materials be reproduced in any form.

Minimum Resale Price Policy

In an effort to protect the long-term interest of Sporty’s, its dealers and customers, Sporty’s has adopted a Minimum Resale Price Policy.

The minimum resale price for each product identified by Sporty’s is the retail price that appears on Sporty’s web site, www.sportys.com. This Policy has been unilaterally adopted by Sporty’s and it will be enforced strictly and uniformly. Although resellers remain free to establish their own resale prices, Sporty’s will, without assuming any liability, cancel all orders and indefinitely refuse to accept any new orders from any reseller immediately following Sporty’s verification to its satisfaction that such reseller has advertised, offered, or sold any of the identified products at a net retail sales price less than the minimum retail price described above.

Sporty’s may modify its Minimum Resale Price Policy at any time. Sporty’s will not discuss any conditions of acceptance related to this Policy. The Policy is non-negotiable and will not be altered for any reseller. In addition, Sporty’s neither solicits, nor will it accept, any assurance of compliance with this Policy. Nothing in its Policy shall constitute an agreement between Sporty’s and any reseller that the reseller will comply with this Policy. Sporty’s sales personnel have no authority to modify or grant exceptions to this Policy. All questions regarding the interpretation of this Policy must be directed to the Distribution Policy Coordinator at 513.735.9100, ext. 338.

Return Policy

Sporty's will accept dealer returns for refund or exchange for a period of 60 days after purchase. Merchandise must be in resaleable condition. FAA charts are not returnable.

FAA Chart information

• Dealers shall not sell obsolete charts
• FAA charts will be sold at no more than list price (tax and shipping may be added)
• Dealers should not communicate with FAA about charts; please contact Sporty’s
• Dates of latest editions will be made available to dealers on a regular basis
