Pros: Updates extremely fast. Not a GPS that sticks out of the bottom of your iPad. Cons: None!

Pros: Very accurate, very fast update rate, works great with my iPad, Bluetooth connects super fast! Cons: Does not stay off when charging! Once plugged on power it turns on, stays on, Bluetooth searches for device and GPS for satellites! Makes no sense to waste energy while charging in a room!

Pros: It is easy to use and does not get lost like the bad elf. It is as easy to use as the Dual . I lke it for use in my balloonfor I toss the holder on top of a propane take and go. It stays where I place it. Cons: Garmin gave a number for the spere battery but still have not found it on line. Its easy to use, handy and accurate. I am pleased with the performance

Pros: The Garmin GLO performs as expected. A really good unit. Cons: Bought the Garmin FLO for Aviation as a gift to my granddaughter (16 years old). She flys but does not have a car. She immediately Skyped with me and asked what she is supposed to do with the cigar lighter charger for a car. She would need a 110v house charger. The product description does not say what kind of charger is coming with the unit. There is no strap/holding device with the unit so you can attached it to your flight bag. Hard to find out (for sure) what apps are supported (of course we know the Garmin Apps are supported!). How about listing other major Apps in the product description.

Pros: Long battery life, nice sleeve for the glareshield, agreed very nicely with the Garmin 430W in the airplane I fly. Once you get around the connection issues I note in my General Comments, it's very easy to connect every time. Cons: Very little support for Android devices. See General Comments. Garmin and the rest of the web are not much help in getting the GLO unit to connect to an Android device. The secret is in the settings. - Pair the GLO with your device. - Download and install Bluetooth GPS from Google Play (free app) - Once in Bluetooth GPS, go to Settings, and turn on Use Insecure Connection - Go back to main screen in Bluetooth GPS, touch Connect next to the GLO device name, and you're live. This works consistently from flight to flight.

Pros: Small in size that fits easily in any case or a pocket. It locked on quick and was very accurate. I compared the location on the iPad with the actual ground location and found it to be dead on. Found the Garmin program fairly easy to use with a little bit of familiarization. I had never used an aviation GPS before and found it easy to change my planned route while in the air. Cons: Minor consideration.....I don't like how easy it is to turn it on. On many occasions I found that the unit was on in my iPad case after not having touched the unit for a few hours.

Pros: Very simple to connect to my I-pad and worked flawlessly on my first flight. Rubber holder really stays where you put it. I have not used the product long enough to rate durability or reliability, but I don't anticipate any problems in either area.

Pros: Bad Elf and Dual units will not lock on to sat signals through our heated windshields but Garmin GLO does. Extremely fast response.

Pros: Really simple to operate with a long battery life. No cords to mess with. The Aviation version also comes with an aux power cable (plugs into any standard car/aircraft aux power port), and an anti-skid dash mount that makes things really easy. Even better, it's not really finicky about placement, as I can even pick up an accurate signal indoors. Cons: As others have mentioned, the on/off button can be easily hit while it sits in a bag. That's about the only quasi-negative thing I could say about it, and it's easy to address by placing it in another pocket in your flight bag. All around great product. Simple to use. Connects easily. No complaints.
