Pros: Very nice quality. Marked down to $30. Cons: Does not work with IPad in a protective case. Very nice kneeboard. Swivel operated smoothly. I keep my I Pad Air in a Lifeproof case so it would not fit into the leather kneeboard. I exchanged it for the big MyClip kneeboard.

Pros: I looked at several options and this is the nicest one I found. I have only had it a week, but I believe it to be durable. One thing I did not realize is that after you open the kneeboard it can rest at an angle or flat. Cons: Bigger than expected. Bulky for small cockpits. It is one of the more expensive kneeboards, but it is leather and the only one that can rotate. The swivel feature while still strapped to your leg is great.

Pros: The rotation feature is excellent, switching from portrait to landscape is easy. Durable. Dropped the iPad from hip height onto a wooden floor, about had a heart attack. The case protected it just fine. Nice leather, just has a great feel to it and makes it feel classier to hold. Zip pocket perfect for Bad Elf (although I think the Dual XGPS150 wouldn't fit in there); it does have a pocket that you could conceivably put a paper chart in. Cons: None as yet. The only one I can potentially think of is it may get hot sitting on your lap/leg in the summer. I hemmed and hawed about buying this; what I really wanted was the Sporty's case for $30-something or whatever it is. But they were out, and I needed a case, so I ordered this one. I would do it again. It's a nice leather, very functional in the cockpit. The rotate feature works super well, not so sure it would in the cheaper cases. In this one it works and feels like it's a well-made device that will keep working. The two clips where it holds on the bottom has a slot so the Bad Elf fits fine (or a charger, for example). The iPad moves around a bit in the case, but not enough that it would knock the Bad Elf loose. And yes, you can rotate it around quite easily so the Bad Elf is at the top. And I have to imagine this case will last a good long time, and probably age well as the leather breaks in. I keep my iPad 3 in it all the time and use it in the house as well as the plane. The fold-over feature works just fine, too, and you can actually use it to prop the iPad up into an angled viewing position if you are stretched out on the couch. Also, it's not bulky. Now that I think about it the Sporty's case seems pretty big. In the cockpit of a Cherokee I'm not sure I'd like to have something that opens completely over my lap. Overall, yes, it's one of the more expensive cases, but I like it.

Pros: Good build quality and will protect your iPad if dropped. The rotating capability is very useful. Cons: Does not securely hold the iPad in place as the elastic straps are just not strong enough to keep the iPad from wiggling around. Does not effectively tilt the iPad either. Once the kneeboard is folded to provide the tilt position, and the leg strap is attached, the case collapses so as to make the tilt angle ineffective. Overall this is a good case. If the elastic straps, and tilt angle features are improved, this would be a great case.

Pros: Rugged yet functional design. Great protection for the iPad. Able to easily turn the iPad from portrait to landscape positions. Cons: Leg strap seems a little weak. I have only flown once with this product so time will tell.

Pros: Feels sturdy, iPad definitely doesn't move when it is in the case and strapped on to my leg. The rotation works well, it only turns when I want it to. Cons: It was a little confusing to figure out how to fit it in the cockpit initially, and even with the leather top folded under it interferes with the yoke at full aft. It is a little tight also, and I have a relatively small leg. Anyone with a large leg may have trouble getting it strapped. Not bad overall, it does what it's supposed to. It's a little pricey in my opinion, but worth it to not have to hassle with keeping my iPad in place in flight.

Great Product....2nd one shipped damaged
I have found this product to be quite functional in the cockpit and around the office. I wore the first one out in about 2 years. Ordered a second one and it arrive with the leather badly torn.
