ProsThese things work just like reading glasses. They're easy to put on your sunglasses, they stay when you put them on, they're bloody marvelous!
ConsI first started using these 20 years ago, more or less, and I've never found anything to complain about. There are no cons, so far as I have been able to determine.
General CommentsEven though I've got 20/20 vision, my arms are just the teensiest bit too short, especially in a shadowed aircraft cabin. One thing I always hated was switching back and forth between my sunglasses and my reading glasses, or worse yet, wearing two pairs of glass (sunglasses and reading glasses) just so I could read the charts in my lap. With these little jewels, that's never an issue. Stick them on your sunglasses (about a 3 minute procedure), put your sunglasses on, and you're ready to rock and roll. It's like having bifocals with no prescription on top, and a reading prescription on the bottom. Believe me, this is one really great product. I can't recommend them highly enough.

When I recently started taking flying lessons, I found that I needed my reading glasses to see the dash. Needless to say, trying to fly with your cheaters down on your nose just doesn’t hack it. Even if you can, you still have no protection from the sun. I purchased these Stick-On Reading Lenses along with a pair of Serengeti Aviator Sunglasses (Drivers Gradient). The gradient lenses of the glasses are great for the darker cockpit and the magnifiers bring everything back into focus. The combination made the difference between flying and not flying. |

They will turn your favorite sunglasses into functional bifocals. ConsThe plastic is somewhat cumbersome to get precisely in place(bubbles tend to form under them) but once properly placed they work fine. There are no instructions on how to get a good seal. Mine kept falling out until I applied a thin film of moisture, squeezed it all out, and let dry. So far,so good. General CommentsYou can buy the identical brand from other online retailers by googling stick on lenses and pay half of what Sporty's charges. I realize Sporty's has to make a profit, but why do they tend to price-gouge on so many items? |

The package only contained two lenses not Four, no upper lens. They are hard to position and even harder to get the air bubbles out of. They take up so much of the lens it severely limits your field of vision. Looking through them they are at the totally wrong focal length and gave me terrible headaches!
