Area to grip to open the clip is small and the spring is very stiff, which makes it hard to squeeze. General CommentsEspecially difficult to insert approach plates while flying in any turbulence as the opening of the clip is fairly narrow...therefore it becomes an unwelcome distraction while setting up for an approach. |

It has some pretty fancy rotating bearings on it with just the right amount of resistance, enabling you to position the approach plate wherever you'd like relative to the yoke.
