Screen looks ok in direct sunlight, but indoors or in low light conditions the screen resolution and sharpness is noticeably degraded. This was unexpected and very disappointing. IF IT PERFORMS AS GUARANTEED, IT WON'T LEAVE A GUMMY RESIDUE ON THE SCREEN WHEN IT HAS TO BE REPLACED. The cheap (2 for $8.00) protection films sold on ebay leave a terrible mess of sticky gum on the screen when you have to replace them; NOT FUN to remove if you can even get it off. The only solution to removing the gummy stuff left by the cheap products is to have the screen replaced by Garmin; very pricey to say the least. ConsNIGHTMARISHLY EXPENSIVE FOR JUST A SHEET OF PLASTIC! I bit the bullet and paid the $38.00 (with shipping) to Sporty's for their plastic protector because they assured me that it would leave no residue when removed. I trust them on this point BUT still feel very uncomfortable and taken advantage of with the outlandish price I had to pay for the product. Surely this item can be sold for FAR less and still make a handsome profit for Sporty's (and keep customers much happier). General CommentsWAY OVERPRICED!!!!!!!!! |
