Spare Alkaline Battery Case & Terminal Cover (for SP-200 & JD-200 NAV/COM)
For normal use, we recommend using the SP-200 with 8 AA batteries and the included alkaline battery case. Each set of 8 batteries lasts up to 15 hours. Use this spare alkaline battery case to “quick change” to a fresh set of batteries and you’ll get another 15 hours. Includes rubber terminal cover to protect case from corrosion when not in use. JD-200 no longer manufactured. |

The electrical contacts don't line up with the SP-200 so it doesn't work. The screws that are used as contacts in the replacement battery pack are smaller than the ones that come with the battery pack of the SP-200. The contacts don't touch so no power. While I can probably find the proper stainless pan head screws to make this work, I'd rather not jerry-rig a piece of equipment and I shouldn't have to. |
