Overall a good design. Very well built. ConsThe left flap is almost useless to me. The kneeboard is actually very long compared to others I've seen. It hinders full deflection of the ailerons with the control wheel. The strap that wraps around your leg is a little short. This could make for a tight fit if you have big thighs. There are two pen holders, great for when you drop one, another one is available. Both sides have zippered pockets which are large enough to put charts in. The clear cover on the right side is perfect for having a charted opened up to the page you want, particularly if you fly in a local area all the time. The right flap has two small mesh pockets which are great for failed instrument covers, extra batteries, or other odds and ends. The two straps that are designed to hold a full sized E6B. Load this knee board up with everything you need for a local area flight, and you don't even need to bring that heavy flight bag. ConsThe metal board has IFR information printed on it. I found the Sportys IFR metal kneeboard to have more readable and useful information. General CommentsDefiantly recommend |
