Detachable carabiner and velcro-fastened belt strap makes carrying handy (if a little bullky). Matches Sporty's Flight Bag (ballistic nylon) series nicely. ConsClosure is via velcro. This makes one-handed opening more difficult than it should be. Launching into a low overcast and setting climb power, switching to departure, turning to assigned heading etc., then breaking out on top and having to fiddle with the velcro is not only difficult, but potentially dangerous.
