Flying magazine editor gives Stratus "strong buy" recommendation

May 03 2012 by John Zimmerman

StratusStratus, Sporty's new subscription-free weather receiver for the iPad, has garnered a lot of attention recently from both pilots and the media. Flying magazine editor Robert Goyer recently flew with it and shared a detailed report

Goyer says, "Stratus is not only a terrific product, but it’s one for which I’d give a very strong 'buy' recommendation to our readers... There are other ADS-B solutions out there, but they’re more expensive and less elegant. Moreover, ForeFlight’s integration of ADS-B weather seals the deal."
