Youth Aviation Adventure at Sporty's

Sporty’s is hosting a Youth Aviation Adventure day on Saturday, September 18^th at our home airport, the Clermont County Airport (I69). This event is for kids 12 – 18 and will give them an overview of all things aviation. Participants will learn about airport operations, aircraft instruments, aerodynamics, pre-flight an actual airplane and also have the opportunity to take a free flight in an airplane through the Young Eagles program. All of this and more in a half-day program at an airport near you. YAA logo

Upon completion of the program, Boy Scouts will satisfy most of the requirements for their Aviation merit badge and Girl Scouts will fulfill all but the service requirement for the Cadette's/Senior's World of Flight Interest Project. All participants will receive a Youth Aviation Adventure patch.

Sporty's is also looking for pilots in the Cincinnati area who are interested in sharing their aviation knowledge with young people.Email mark.w@sportys.com for additional information.
