RECREATIONAL PILOT | PRIVATE PILOT | INSTRUMENT RATING | COMMERCIAL PILOT
The Sporty's Academy Recreational/Private Transition Course is approved under Federal Aviation Regulations, Part 141. The Training Course Outline provides for the following maximum times. Students who attain the required proficiency and ability may graduate with less instruction and flight time as long as the FAR 141 regulatory minimums have been completed.
Ground Instruction
12.1 Hours self tutorial and individual instruction using the Sporty's Private Pilot Video Course in preparation for the Private Pilot Knowledge Test.
Flight Instruction
10.0 Hours airplane dual instruction
2.4 Hours simulator dual instruction

5.7 Hours preflight and postflight discussion
