Pros:
Excellent build quality. Fine electronics. Super support (but I didn't need to use it).
Cons:
Could just be me but I couldn't easily/quickly get it adjusted to stay in the right place on my head. Without the over-the-ear format .... perhaps they need a touch more in the way of head band support? Could be.

Pros:
Lightweight, quality construction, semi-compact design, excellent warranty
Cons:
Bluetooth 'hiss', mic-boom is a little short

Overall a really good headset. As with any new headset it will take a little getting used to, especially if you are coming from an over-the-ear style.

I bought the Pro-X to replace the Telex 850 I had been using for the last 4 years. Have used the Pro-X for 15 hours now and am just finally getting used to the new feel. The ear cushions are plush and barely felt 'hot' after 4 hours of continuous wear. The cushions are larger and thicker than the Telex 850's and thus feel very pillow-like on your ears. With the ENC turned off the Pro-X is nearly as quiet as the Telex 850. With the ENC turned on the Pro-X is nearly as quiet as the Bose (dare I say). I fly the Embraer 175 jet, and the Pro-X's ENC does a great job of cancelling out the rumble, and cuts out a good amount of wind noise. You need to put your mike switch to cold in order to really appreciate how quiet the headset is, because the microphone tends to pick up some of that wind noise.

I have three gripes with this headset though: first is the length of the mic boom, it doesn't reach to the front of my lips so it feels awkward to speak into. Second is the Bluetooth; it has a noticeable 'hiss' sound when turned on. I haven't used the Bluetooth in flight, so I'm not sure if it will be as noticeable then. Finally, the head pad is a leathery material and as such tends to slide on the top of my head, so I find myself needing to readjust the placement on my head every so often. I am hoping that this will change once the head pad and ear pads break in with use.

Pros:
Light, works well with glasses and oxygen. Noise reduction really good. Very comfy when wearing cannula or glasses
Cons:
Too early to tell about durability and reliability but previous DC equipment lasted 'forever.'

Pros:
they feel great and are compact
The bluetooth for music is awesome
Cons:
the volume controls are almost un responsive and too much aircraft noise gets past the ear cup.

I am 53 years old and dont hear as good as I used to so I think these might work ok for someone younger

Pros:
Very lightweight and compact with great noise cancelling characteristics.
Cons:
The ear pieces must be exactly over the 'sweet-spot' of your ears or you won't get the entire benefit of the noise cancelling aspect. Also, I haven't been able to get the cell phone input to work (may just be my phone).

Overall, I am very happy with the DC pro-X's. I had every intention of sending them back if I wasn't completely satisfied, and it looks as though they are 'keepers.' I'm a charter pilot and CFI, and couldn't justify the cost other companies were charging for a pair of ANR headsets.

Pros:
Comfortable, light weight, noise cancellation works well.
Cons:
I used this headset for about thirty hours. I did not find any cons.

I tried them in a C-172, DA40 and they did a much better job than I was expecting. I could easily use them for a long flight in a piston powered plane.

Pros:
lightweight, covers less of my head which keep me cooler, noise canceling does the job well.
Cons:
the bluetooth could be better. I hear a slight hiss on the bluetooth signal. I also have ready that this headset was not built with bluetooth 4.0, which would really help battery life. I don't expect that to be a real problem.

I have only been able to fly with this headset a few times. So far, I am enjoying the noise canceling aspect. This is much quieter than the over the ear passive DC models.

Because this headset is not an over the ear model, more of my head can breath, which helps me stay cool on the hot days.

On my first flight, ATC asked me to repeat myself several times. I thought maybe I was not speaking up enough, or the mic was having issues, but my instructor thought it had more todo with ACT than me. It has not happened since, but if it does I may be returning this item.

Other than that it is great. I have actually been using it around the house to make phone calls via the bluetooth. I can hardly hear my kids screaming in the background. Which in its self make's it worth the price.

Pros:
Much lighter than I expected, and they work great.

I have used older David Clark & other headsets, but the Pro-X have me spoiled. For the money, they exceed all expectations.
