The four-seat, single-engine Cessna 172 Skyhawk has undoubtedly been flown by more pilots in the world than any other aircraft. Introduced in 1956, the design is so solid it’s still in production today. Even though manufacture was interrupted for several years, more than 35,000 have been built and most are still flying. Our hand-carved mahogany model is a detailed replica of the Skyhawk after they resumed rolling off the line in 1997. It has a wingspan of 13”, is 10” long and comes with the mahogany base shown.
