Product Buyer for Preferred Living Catalog
Sportsman’s Market, Inc. (“Sporty’s”) has a full-time job opening in our Catalog Department for someone to source new products for our Preferred Living (“PL”) catalog and website. PL is a lifestyle, leisure, and gift catalog offering a wide array of quality innovative and unique items targeting the upscale homeowner. As an Associate Merchandise Buyer, you will support the Senior Buyer/Catalog Manager by finding new products, attending trade shows, developing and maintaining vendor partnerships, and helping to create successful product assortments. Responsibilities include merchandise testing, evaluation and selection, assisting with product photography, managing copy writing, and inventory planning. You must be extremely organized, and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Sporty's Academy
Sporty's Academy, Inc. is the educational division of Sporty's Pilot Shop located at the Clermont County Airport (I69), in the eastern Cincinnati suburb of Batavia, Ohio. The Academy provides flight and ground training, in partnership with Eastern Cincinnati Aviation, under Part 61 and Part 141. Flight and ground training is provided to individuals from the United States and abroad including a partnership with the University of Cincinnati instructing students enrolled in the University's Professional Pilot Training Program.
Flight Instructors are responsible for the effective delivery of flight and ground instruction provided in accordance with FAA regulations from the Recreational through Commercial Pilot as an independent contractor of Eastern Cincinnati Aviation/Sporty's Academy. Flight Instructors are also responsible for the overall safety and extraordinary satisfaction of their clients. The successful candidate will possess the following minimum qualifications:
- Two-year college degree
- Commercial Pilot Certificate or ATP
- CFIA (CFII preferred)
- 300 hours PIC
- Instructional experience of at least 1 year or 100 hours
