Buckle up for some exciting rides as you sit left seat on three instrument flights to follow pilots of different experience levels flying and communicating in the IFR system. This program gives today’s instrument pilot a real-world look at IFR operations through all phases of flight. The action-packed flights take place in a Cessna Skyhawk equipped with VOR receivers for navigation, a Garmin G1000-equipped Cessna Skylane and a high-performance Piper Malibu Mirage.
You will visit several types of airports including rural, non-towered airports along with the high-density Chicago Midway airport. See and hear first-hand the demands of each flight and how the pilots effectively manage all available resources to complete each flight. Also included are sections designed to refresh your knowledge of IFR communications, as well as a review of communications during emergencies. IFR Communications will bring added confidence making you a better instrument pilot regardless of experience and help make your next flight smoother and safer. Approximately 70 minutes.
Includes an MP3 audio file for listening on the go, and an MP4 video file to watch on your tablet or mobile device.

Sporty’s DVDs have all DVD regions enabled and play on almost all DVD players (NTSC or PAL); consult your owner’s manual for more information. Closed Captioning not functional on PAL DVD players.
Attention International Students!
Sporty's IFR Communications DVD has printed subtitles or captions (sometimes called under-titles). These captions are very useful for students whose first language is not English, as many students more effectively assimilate new material when it's presented in both verbal and written form.
