Sporty’s Academy Flight Experience is the perfect opportunity to take your aviation interest to the next level in four flight lessons designed to be fun and inviting for all while delivering the thrill of a lifetime.

More than an introduction to flight, Flight Experience will allow the aspiring aviator to master the four fundamentals of flight culminating with a local, round-trip flight to Lunken Airport where you will get to perform a takeoff and landing under the guidance of an FAA certified flight instructor. All of this, plus access to Sporty’s award-winning, online-based Learn to Fly Course, is the “quick launch” toward becoming a licensed pilot or satisfying a lifelong curiosity.

Your first three lessons will take place in Sporty’s advanced flight simulator featuring an authentic aircraft flight deck, instruments and controls with vivid visual displays for an unprecedented level of realism. You’ll benefit from an environment conducive to learning with smooth air and sunny skies while experiencing a flight environment just like the real thing. You'll learn how to perform a takeoff, basic maneuvers (straight and level flight, turns, descents, etc.) and a normal landing. After each lesson, your instructor will make your official logbook entry. You’re now on your way to becoming a pilot.

Also included with the Flight Experience is Sporty’s award-winning Complete Learn to Fly Course – a $250 value. This online course features real-world flight training – ground school, flight school and test preparation in one complete course. The course includes everything you need to become a licensed pilot.
