Microlon is an additive that has been approved for use by the FAA since 1979 and will last the entire TBO. It is a permanent engine treatment that cleans any contaminants from the metal and then bonds to the interior of your engine to lower friction, leading to less wear, lower temperatures, increased fuel efficiency, increased engine life, smoother idle, and more available power. Microlon does not replace any oil in the crankcase. Always use the recommended amount of oil for your application. 

How it works:
1. Cleans the metal surfaces inside of your engine.
Microlon has a powerful chemical solution that penetrates and thoroughly cleans all metal surfaces inside the engine. Any contaminants, such as carbon, varnish, dust, loose metal particles, rust, or any other deposits are swept away, revealing a perfectly clean and smooth surface for Microlon to bond with. All contaminants are removed from your engine with the next oil change. The cleaning agents evaporate within 1-2 hours of normal use. 

2. Saturates the metal with corrosion inhibitors and antioxidants.
This is to prevent engine damaging rust and corrosion from starting. This is very beneficial for the aircraft that tend to sit for longer periods of time, which, if left untreated, could easily lessen TBO. When your oil is entirely removed from the surfaces of the engine and is left in the oil pan, Microlon will be there to keep your engine safe from rust. 

3. Creates a permanent dry lubricant film on all metal surfaces.
Microlon soaks into the metal of your engine and becomes an integral piece of the surface. All surfaces inside of your engine will be coated in Microlon, meaning there is no longer any metal to metal contact, but rather Microlon to Microlon contact. This product has an extremely low coefficient of friction, is chemical resistant, and can easily withstand the temperatures and friction associated with a normal engine. 

This kit includes a treatment to be poured directly into the crankcase and treatment to go into the fuel so that both the top end and the bottom end of your engine will be coated in Microlon for ultimate protection.
