Great noise cancelling. However, after my 3rd leg of the day, my ears started aching from the ear pieces. Also , when I would move the boom to drink water , the whole headset would fall off.
I m most likely going to return these for the A20’s. I would not recommend these.July 30, 2020Purchased

I use it in the Airbus A-320. The active noise canceling works excellently. The headset is comfortable and light. And after some trials with different sized ear pieces, I was able to get a great fit in each of my ears of differing size (one medium, one small). I highly recommend this headset.July 26, 2020Purchased

1 month agoEase Of Use1 / 5Would You Recommend?NoI was looking forward to the new Bose headset. I tried it on a couple of flights. Spent most of my time adjusting the headset versus flying. I tried the 3 different size earbuds. It was difficult for me to get comfortable with it. I plan on exchanging the headset for a Bose A20.April 29, 2020Purchased
3 months agoDurability4 / 5Reliability5 / 5Performance5 / 5Ease Of Use5 / 5Value4 / 5Would You Recommend?YesGreat tool.I should have bought these a long time ago. The noise canceling is awesome and really quiets the window-side wind noise and still allows cockpit communication without the intercom. A big unanticipated benefit was a big increase in alertness and decrease in fatigue—the noise is much more debilitating than you realize. Buy and carry some extra batteries but, advertised battery life is close to accurate, if not a little less than actual. Sport’s service was awesome.March 29, 2020Purchased
5 months agoDurability5 / 5Reliability5 / 5Performance2 / 5Ease Of Use2 / 5Value3 / 5Would You Recommend?YesI'd recommend....but....I like the concept of the headset, that is getting away from the band pressure of the traditional EAR MUFF design, however this headset takes some practice to don quickly and even more practice to line up the ear tips. It gets easier with each use, however there is a a "practice curve period". From a noise reduction perspective: if the traditional A20's were rated as 100% effective in noise cancelling, this headset would be rated at 85%. Sorry to burst the BOSE bubble here, but there is ambient noise leakage around the ear tips. Yes, there are different sizes and I tried them all. The best I could attain is an 85% effectiveness score against the A20.
In a turbofan environment this not like to be any issue whatsoever. It can be an issue in a turboprop.
I'm still evaluating during the 30 day trial period. As they say...the jury is still out!!February 25, 2020Purchased

Takes a bit of getting use to putting the ear buds into your ear but works great. As for reliability and durability I think it will be great however I have only used it for 3 weeks about 15 hours.January 16, 2020Purchased
7 months agoDurability4 / 5Reliability5 / 5Performance5 / 5Ease Of Use4 / 5Value4 / 5Would You Recommend?YesGame ChangerThe Proflight 2 is light and comfortable and the radio quality was terrific. I never missed a call. The earbud fit was ok. I might consider doing the custom earmolds from Avery Sound to make things perfect but truly not necessary. The volume knobs were mid to low range for me. I was expecting them to be turned way down low. Overall, a great headset and is my preference over the Telex 8 and DC Pro X2.December 16, 2019Purchased
