Could be priced a little less (Coming from an avid Oakley wearer) but as far a optical quality, fit, and Comfort, you cant beat these! I have a rather wide face and these fit perfect!June 21, 2018Durability4 / 5Reliability4 / 5Performance5 / 5Ease Of Use4 / 5Value5 / 5Would You Recommend?YesTOP OF THE LINEBest sunglasses I ever owned!June 9, 2018Durability5 / 5Reliability5 / 5Performance5 / 5Ease Of Use5 / 5Value5 / 5Would You Recommend?YesMay 29, 2018Purchased
9 months agoPerformance5 / 5Ease Of Use5 / 5Value3 / 5Would You Recommend?YesLightweight, good optics, good lens color for flying, non-reflective framesThe Good: The lenses offer sharp optics, a color that provides definition in haze and clouds. They are not polarized (which is a bad idea not only because it makes some instruments unreadable but because it hides to glare that alerts you to the presence of a distant airplane. The frame is lightweight, and its flat-carbon finish doesn't reflect or create glare. The lenses are wide enough to cover most of your field of vision. The triangular cross-section case is better than more traditional shapes of cases. They fit well and don't get uncomfortable after only an hour or so.
In Between: The stems are OK under a headset, though thinner would be better for a full day of flying with a headset.
The Bad: Like most sunglasses they are overpriced. If you cut the price by $50, they'd still make a profit. (Of course, then they'd lose the business of those morons who think it can't be any good if it doesn't cost a lot.)
The Unknown: I haven't used them enough to say anything about reliability or durability yet. The frames flex a little, so they should hold up to some pressure, and the hinge assemblies look beefier than some.December 27, 2017Purchased

They performed great! Once I slipped them on they really sharpened my vision by cutting out the irritating light from sun. I could still see passing traffic, easily. My headset seal was nice and firm with no bleed in ambient sound. It was a good buy which you never really know until you try!October 16, 2017Purchased

1 year agoDurability4 / 5Reliability5 / 5Performance5 / 5Ease Of Use5 / 5Value4 / 5Great product, minor shipping issue...Went flying with a friend who lent me these glasses, immediately I noticed how light weight the frames were which was a huge plus! The lenses themselves provide a vibrant view while flying, providing just the right amount of color and contrast. These glasses also proved helpful when trying to pick out traffic since they really boost your eyes ability to pick up minor details. Primarily fly aircraft with glass panels and, as advertised, they had no effect on the screens. Buy these glasses, they look great and are a great addition to the cockpit. Only one downside, the glasses came in a soft envelope and the glasses case was bent on arrival with the glasses inside. There is a minor imbalance in the way the glasses fit due to being jammed in the case, but I am making due. Hopefully Sporty's will switch to a shipping these glasses in a standard box so others don't have to deal with the same issue I have.December 5, 2016Durability5 / 5Reliability5 / 5Performance5 / 5Ease Of Use5 / 5Value5 / 5Best sunglasses everI love these sunglasses! They are lightweight and the amber tint makes them excellent for driving. I have light blue eyes, so I need to wear sunglasses most of the time. These are incredibly comfortable and the clarity is amazing!August 29, 2016Durability2 / 5Reliability2 / 5Performance3 / 5Ease Of Use4 / 5Value3 / 5Would Not RecommendI love these types of glasses and am always looking for ones that help on those hazy, scuzzy or stormy days. I thought I would give these a try. They are made of a very lightweight plastic which felt cheap to me. The lenses did not perform even close to HAZEBUSTERS, another similar product but must have a much better lens. I estimate I could see cloud definition about another 1.5 miles with the Hazebusters. Not even a close call. These glasses do come with a nice case with a magnetic latch, that was coolAugust 21, 2016
